Risk turns those signals into a single, importable feed.
Raw global news signal is noisy. Our anchored score weights events by your supply-chain exposure - so countries you actually source from rank above ones you don't.
Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly Δ in risk score per country. Hover any row to see the underlying trade-relevant headlines that drove it.
Trade-filtered news ranked by mention volume - tariffs, supply chain, sanctions, geopolitics. No reality TV. No celebrity gossip. Just the trade-moving signal.
Origin → destination port pairs scored when both endpoints elevate at once. A single port closure looks different from a route-wide problem.
Watchlist auto-builds from your tier 1 / 2 / 3 supplier countries. The world's news is filtered to the slice that touches you.
Anthropic-powered chat runs the same queries you can. Ask "what's biting us in Q2?" and get a cited, sourced answer - not a vibe.
Every tier-1 supplier name is screened against the full OpenSanctions corpus - 32,982 sanctioned companies and 91,894 aliases drawn from OFAC SDN, BIS Entity List, EU FSF, UK HMT, UN Security Council, UFLPA Entity List, SAM Exclusions, and 20+ allied jurisdictions. Trigram fuzzy match catches the misspellings and word-order tricks that exact-match lookups miss.
We loaded all 380 documented detention facilities from the ASPI Xinjiang Data Project and score every supplier by distance to the nearest one. A Xinjiang-located supplier doesn't get a vague "warning" - it gets a quantified haversine-distance penalty in your supplier score, and a flagged dot on the globe.
Operator-first layout. Glance at the top, drill on demand.
Mapbox dark globe with toggleable layers: news heatmap, country-risk fill, and your supplier markers.
Daily / weekly / monthly / yearly risk Δ - with inline trade-relevant headlines per country.
Trade-filtered news ranked by mention volume - tariffs, supply chain, sanctions, geopolitics.

Live screening of every tier-1 supplier against 4.2M OpenSanctions records. Flagged hits surface with the exact program (OFAC, BIS, UFLPA, etc.) and similarity score.
Toggleable Mapbox layer plotting all 380 documented XJDP detention facilities, with factory-co-location warnings and proximity penalties baked into the supplier risk score.
From the boardroom to the dock.
Open global news-event feeds that code media coverage of geopolitical events worldwide. We ingest in 15-minute increments and currently hold 4M+ events in our live window, all filtered to trade-relevant categories before scoring.
We combine intrinsic news signal (negative-event volume + tone + quad-class share), kinetic events, and policy/sanction events, then weight by US-trade share so countries you import from outrank countries you don't.
Without anchoring, every globe-watching dashboard ranks Russia and Israel at the top - useful for the news, useless for your supply chain. The anchored score moves Vietnam up the list when Vietnam matters to you.
Yes - it's Anthropic Claude with 14 grounded tools that query the same data the dashboard shows. Citations are surfaced inline. It cannot hallucinate a number - only quote one.
Global news events stream in 15-minute increments. Country-risk rollups recompute nightly. Trade headlines refresh on every page load. The sanctions corpus refreshes from the OpenSanctions FTM dump (4.2M+ records across 30+ allied jurisdictions); the forced-labor layer is anchored to the ASPI Xinjiang Data Project v1.0 (380 documented detention facilities).
OFAC SDN + Consolidated, BIS Entity List + Denied + Unverified, UFLPA Entity List, SAM Exclusions, US Trade Consolidated Screening List, EU FSF, UK HMT, UN Security Council, Ukraine NSDC + war sanctions, Canada DFATD SEMA, Australia DFAT, Switzerland SECO, Japan METI, Taiwan SHTC, World Bank debarred firms, and more - 30+ programs in total. Names + aliases are matched via trigram similarity, so word-order rearrangements and missing suffixes don't slip through.
We loaded the ASPI XJDP dataset of 380 documented detention facilities (tiers 1-4 by security level, with factory co-location flags). Each supplier name is resolved to a CN city or province coordinate, then we run a haversine distance to the nearest facility. ≤100km = full exposure penalty; ≥500km = no penalty; smooth ramp in between. The penalty rolls into the composite supplier score and lights up a rose-bullseye marker on the globe.
